Since its founding in 1979, FCCA has celebrated 45 years of dedication, helping over 20,000 families in Aruba find a home, either through renting or mortgages. The organization remains committed to assisting those who face significant challenges in securing a home.

FCCA offers financial and real estate services, including mortgage financing, land sales, and property rentals, with the mission of developing and constructing accessible, efficient, and durable housing to meet the community's social housing needs. Additionally, FCCA is dedicated to creating neighborhoods with a positive and healthy environment, thus promoting the well-being of its residents.

The year 2005 will always be remembered as a year of great achievement for Emiliana Tromp as it was the year she laid the first stone of her house. What gives this achievement even more value is that, thanks to FCCA, it became possible when she was already 50 years old. "I decided with my own strength, faith, and firm attitude that I must achieve my own home, something I can value and call mine." The decision to start the process to achieve her own home was a crucial step for her independence and happiness.

Emiliana was aware of the function and potential help she could receive from FCCA to achieve her own home. “I have many acquaintances and family members who have already used FCCA when I approached them.” She still remembers the initial reaction when she approached FCCA for help, due to her advanced age. Even so, she did not let this challenge deter her. She did not let the challenge of her age stand in her way to reach her goal of having her own home.

"The biggest challenges were time and patience,” Emiliana says. There was a lot of paperwork and requirements to fulfill. “Due to my advanced age, the path to start was a bit long but once my loan was approved, I must say that things went sublime immediately.” Emiliana explains that the process involved various documents such as registrations from DIP, DOW, letters from her employer, bank, and notary. She managed everything so that she could lay the first stone for her house, almost 20 years ago.

"The first word I can use to describe her achievement is ‘Happiness.’ “I am happy because I can proudly say that this house is mine! Pride goes hand in hand with this feeling and gratitude towards FCCA. Especially to Maroushka Rafini. “Her tireless help, kind service, and determination to help me achieve my house were crucial.” Emiliana without a doubt recommends FCCA to others who want to have their own home. "The experience and the challenges I went through gave me more determination to say that it is with FCCA that they must work to get their house."
