LOCAL & REGIONAL STYLISTS

More and more, the fact of knowing how to handle hair products is critical in differentiating a professional stylist who can do a perfect job for their clientele. With this end goal in mind, REDKEN offers stylists around the world the opportunity to achieve their certification that validates their knowledge on how to correctly handle all the products under this brand.
Aruba, as an island with a large number of stylists and a Redken brand house, has had the opportunity to become the stage for the preparation of 17 stylists who are now on their way to finally achieving this certification in June 2023. The lesson that took place in Aruba is a series of education that has already begun and is now becoming the third to take place.

Stylists from Aruba, Curacao and Jamaica were present to attend the education that took place in Aruba in the room of the Education Center of the Swift Distribution Aruba agent. Professional educator, cosmetologist, and international facilitator Vilmarie Brignoni and Gabriel Ortiz, whom came to Aruba to provide this education and guide the stylists. This education started on Sunday, May 7th and concluded on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023. The education covered all the techniques and correct application of each product to achieve the perfect result for clients loyal to Redken products.

My 16+ years in the industry as a licensed cosmetologist, trichologist, and facilitator are used to help all beauty professionals to learn, earn and live their best life by sharing the Redken Mission & Values. My purpose is to be a guide so that all hairdressers can understand the science that exists in hair and in color efficiently so they can feel confident when performing all types of hair services behind the chair.

Gabriel Ortiz is passionate about education and innovation. With over 17 years in the beauty industry as a licensed cosmetologist, he aims to connect with colleagues in order to share knowledge and skills, with the goal of developing better professionals in the field of beauty. Four years ago, he joined the great family of L'Oreal Caribbean, becoming an international #redkenartist and certified Redken colorist. His passion for creating has led him to work outside of Puerto Rico, in beauty contests, as a mentor for students at Redken Academy, and in competitions such as ROC, giving him the opportunity to reach other markets to become a mentor, guide, and leader among stylists and for the beauty industry.
The next step will be in June 2023, where all the stylists will need to pass this final exam that will take place in Curacao, before they can call themselves a Redken Certified Haircolorist!
