Zilha Bruin-Wever and Queeny Bergen have been friends for over two decades. During this time, they have shared many experiences: besides spending time together as friends, they have organized parties, dinners, fundraisers, and even co-founded the remarkable WOW Aruba (Women empOwering Women) platform alongside other inspiring women in Aruba. From all of this, one thing became clear: their friendship is not only personal but also a platform for creating impactful events that truly matter to their community.

While many people felt doubt and fear during the fragile and critical period of the pandemic, Zilha and Queeny saw an opportunity. They transformed an old building on Main Street into their headquarters, and with the support of Qredits, they converted it into a modern, vibrant, and multi purpose space: Piso 3 Workcenter. A place for work, inspiration, and memorable events. Guided by their coach Mingly Maduro, they discovered their greatest passion: creating events that inspire, unite people, and build community.

Today, Zilha and Queeny are the driving force behind events that capture the attention and interest of many groups across Aruba’s community.

Some of the successful events they have organized include:

  • Mind Matters
  • Happy Parents
  • Dare to be Brave
  • And most recently, Primero Yo, the first major motivational conference in Spanish.

They prove that when passion, vision, and discipline come together, great things can become reality.

While one has a natural talent for marketing, the other has a sharp creative eye for design. Together, they’ve balanced their strengths to bring every event to the highest level. They understand what people are looking for: not just an activity, but an experience that stays in the heart and sparks growth.

Behind every event, there is a secret: their team. Every project is fueled by the energy of volunteers and young professionals who, despite their own busy lives, are always ready to help and contribute. The success of an event comes from multiple roles working together; the organizers, volunteers, and participants, all united to turn the vision into reality.
