At just 25 years old, Valentina Londoño balances three roles: proud mother of her two and a half year old daughter Leilani, Branch Representative at a financial company, and founder of
Island Inspirations by VL.

The idea for Island Inspirations was born as a hobby during her time studying in the Netherlands. Valentina was searching for a way to express her creativity, and painting became her outlet. “At first it wasn’t anything serious,” she recalls. “It was simply my space to relax.” But her passion kept growing. When she returned to Aruba, with her young daughter and a strong desire to spend more time with her family, she made a bold decision: to transform her hobby into a business. Why not?

Island Inspirations is a simple yet powerful concept: sip & paint experiences in the setting the client chooses by the beach, at home, or in a specially created ambiance for personalized events. For Valentina, every session is more than art; it’s connection, inspiration, and a memory that lasts. “My wish is for every experience to stay as a special memory, for people to feel inspired and share joy with their loved ones. Island Inspirations is not just art; it’s inspiration, togetherness, and a moment that stays in your heart.”

Like every new business, the path was challenging. Valentina believed in her idea, but she was searching for more structured guidance. That’s when the Qreative Business Academy by Qredits came into the picture. “I decided to participate in the Qreative Business Academy, which gave me more theoretical knowledge on how to manage a business and sparked creativity with new strategies and approaches for my company.”

Over 10 weeks, the course gave her not only theory in business management, but more importantly, confidence. “Knowledge is power, but creativity is your signature. The course showed me how to think bigger,” Valentna says. “I didn’t finish my studies in the Netherlands, but Qredits gave me a trampoline.”

The experience changed Valentina’s way of thinking. She realized that creativity has no borders and that personal growth creates a domino effect. “When we grow as individuals, we inspire an entire creative sector too. I hope this program continues so more people can take this opportunity.”

Today, Island Inspirations is entering a new phase of expansion: collaborations with hotels and restaurants, private workshops, and creative events like weddings and proposals. For Valentina, the entrepreneurial journey is only beginning, but her goal is clear: to keep creating spaces of joy, togetherness, and art that will remain forever in people’s hearts.
