Setar business event 2023

A room full of guests, businessmen, and executives gathered on March 30th, 2023, for another successful business event organized by Setar. This was the 17th event of its kind, but the first one after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

The Hilton Aruba Caribbean & Casino ballroom served as the setting for this successful event, which always aims to inform, inspire or motivate. This time, the message of the invited speaker, Gregg Brown, was one that everyone could identify with, which was about adapting and changing one's mindset to the changes that the pandemic has brought about in business at a significant level.

The evening began with Setar's director, Roland Croes, who reviewed how Setar adapted to and faced the pandemic in Aruba. In a very open and sincere manner, Roland Croes elaborated on the challenges that the company faced, and how they made decisions together as a team. The company closed for only one day, on March 19th, 2020, to plan together, while Setar was facing its first loss of revenue in 2020. The director shared how, as a company, Setar focused on five important pillars to navigate through the period of uncertainty, including:

"Mr. Croes shared some highlights of Fiber and IPTV up until 2022, as well as the goals that SETAR has for Fiber and IPTV by the end of 2023, so that more customers can experience the latest in television technology and have better speed and stable connections at home or in their businesses.

"We are looking at 2023 with great optimism, where we see significant growth for Setar"

The invited speaker, Gregg Brown, began his presentation by recalling how the world behaved during a pandemic, where the pressure to adapt was crucial.

In a very accessible way, Brown took a moment to interact with the audience to explore their thoughts on the important factors that were necessary to pass the pandemic and face the changes ahead. Determination, Efficiency, and Strength were some of the points he shared. On his part, the speaker explained and elaborated on a format that he calls MIA, which relates to three important points to apply when preparing to face changes after the pandemic.

The presented topic opened up a conversation during the following meeting where guests met in a more relaxed manner for a reception where they could network and exchange ideas on the topics of "Change" and "The Future of Work" presented during the event.

Congratulations to the SETAR team for another successfully organized event.
