Maibelys Hernandez, a friendly and sociable person with deep faith in God, began her journey with Crown in 2012 as a salesperson. Her ability to understand customers and her commitment to providing excellent service paved the way for her growth. "I’m a patient person, and I enjoy working in a team to ensure the best communication," she explains. This approach did not go unnoticed by management. Just two years after starting, Maibelys was promoted to store supervisor, and today, she leads a team of 17 employees at Crown Boulevard. Her personal rule is simple: "I compete with myself to see how I can improve every day," she adds.
To achieve Crown's goals, Maibelys and her team begin each day with a pre-shift meeting, evaluating daily and monthly objectives. As someone who believes in having all the necessary information clear, she emphasizes the importance of clarity and communication: "Communication is vital in a team; that way, everyone knows where we need to go together."
Maibelys expresses her deep gratitude to her team, highlighting that a leader is nothing without a strong team. "Thanks to my work team, we succeed together and achieve great things."
One of the most rewarding parts of her job is solving problems and building good relationships with customers. "You can feel it when a customer opens up to you and shares their personal life. That’s something very special. It strengthens trust and loyalty," she says.
As a mother of two young children, Maibelys faces the challenge of balancing personal life and work. "I don’t bring work stress home, nor do I let home life affect my work. It’s definitely not easy." To help herself further, Maibelys constantly reads books that provide guidance and training, helping her relax and manage both her job and herself effectively. Despite any obstacles that may arise, Maibelys always maintains a positive mindset. "Even when you feel like you’re about to collapse, remember we’re only human. I talk to myself to find light in every situation and balance both roles well."
Maibelys is an example for other women with big goals. Her message is: "Never give up. There are ups and downs, but these are valuable lessons to keep moving forward."
 She adds that it’s essential to maintain self-confidence and perseverance. "Always believe in yourself, never stop dreaming, and trust that you can achieve anything you set your mind to."
