Jennifer’s love for percussion began at the young age of 12 when she took her first lessons in conga, timbales, and bongos. Her mentor, Uka Hernandez, opened the door for Jennifer to join the Gaita group Las Originales at just 13 years old. Shortly after, at 17, Jennifer was already representing Aruba internationally with the Carnival band BMW+, including performances at the renowned Aruba Day in the Netherlands.

After taking a break from music to focus on her studies in the Netherlands, Jennifer returned to Aruba in 2015, where her talent shone once again with Grupo Melodia, performing traditional Aruban music. In 2020, she joined Upgrade Music & Jeon and Dushi Carnaval Group, continuing to impress audiences during Carnival. By 2022, Jennifer was touring internationally with Jeon & Band’s BiggyBoy Forever Tour. In 2023 and 2024, she was invited to collaborate with the group Chicas Gaiteras, recording timbales for the legendary song Cariño in a new version featuring several renowned Aruban artists.

Jennifer is also shining on social media. Her creative percussion covers, including an interpretation of Son Amores by Liz Padilla, have garnered 1.1 million views, captivating audiences worldwide. Currently, she regularly collaborates with Jeon & Band, representing Aruba at festivals in Bonaire and Curaçao. She recently recorded for Jeon’s new Carnival album, Soca is Life, which includes tracks such as Carnival Baby featuring BMW Classic and Daddy Base, both creating a buzz in the music scene.
