Unfortunately, I couldn't find a job in the field I studied. I did find a job, but it was at a nursery. I stayed there for 2 years, but I always wanted to achieve more for myself and my child. After 2 years, I managed to get a job with the government in Traimerdia. This was closer to my dream.

Working with children, but still, something was missing. I wasn't a certified teacher. I took the leap and left the job to go to IPA (teacher training). There, I managed to reach up to the second year. I struggled with mathematics, and that resulted in me having to leave IPA. After that setback, I was fortunate enough to get a job at a nursery. After about 2 years, I applied to the International School of Aruba as a Montessori teacher assistant. I took my chances even though I didn't have the diploma in this field. To my surprise, I got the job. I learned a lot working at a private school, and also in English. I learned about different cultures, people, and eventually earned my Montessori Teacher diploma. But after 2 years, they removed this curriculum, and I lost my job.

Even though it was tough financially, I decided not to give up. One day, I came across a post on Facebook that IPA was opening a Bachelor's program for Dutch as a Foreign Language. I've always taken risks in my life, and I decided to enroll because my desire has always been to become a teacher.

Balancing family, personal life, and studying was not easy. In my 4 years of study, I lost my aunt and my dad, with whom I was very close. I also had to undergo urgent surgery. All these challenges were not easy. But today, I can say that my dream has become a reality.

I am a teacher, and I will motivate and inspire each of my students to never give up and keep striving for their goals. Additionally, I am an example for other students and my child.
