Frederick Sydow, a prodigious talent who started playing tennis at the tender age of 5, has come a long way from his early days at Racket Club with coach Leonel Sanchez. During my junior years, I trained with Claudio Martinez and did conditioning with Beto Thiel. An average of 16 hours a week. I would train at Tamarijn with Claudio 2 hours every day and 1 hour with Beto every other day.”
His incredible journey took him from Aruba to the international stage, where he represented his country in the Junior Davis Cup and caught the attention of tennis enthusiasts around the world. Guided by his competitive spirit and a burning desire to be the best, Frederick's passion for tennis has only grown stronger over the years.

After a break from competitive tennis during college, Frederick returned to his home country with a newfound purpose. He noticed that there was a need to develop tennis talent in Aruba and ensure the sport's continued growth. Driven by his love for tennis and his desire to give back to his community, Frederick has dedicated himself to nurturing the next generation of Aruban tennis players and paving the way for their success.
