In the world of social media, people crave content that feels real—without filters, without pretense, and without drama. Anabel Leon, known on Facebook/TikTok as Ana Vibes, is exactly that: a woman who shares life in an entertaining, joyful, and unapologetically authentic way.

"I’m not an influencer," she states right away. "I’m just showing life as it is. I’m not perfect, I’m not trying to be perfect, and I’m not here to ‘teach’ anyone anything. Life is simple, and I’m just showing how I live it."
Anabel admits that the word
“influencer” holds a lot of weight in her perception. “I don’t want to carry that title, nor do I consider myself an influencer! Of course, I’m extremely grateful to have been named Influencer of the Year, but that’s not what I set out to do.”

Born and raised in Santa Cruz, Aruba, Anabel represents two cultures—her mother is from the Dominican Republic, and her father is Aruban. At 20 years old, she moved to New York without realizing that this decision would change her life forever. "I never planned on staying in the U.S. I was just visiting, but I got curious about life here. That’s how I ended up staying, building my family, and now I have two kids—one is 11, and the other is 9."

While in the U.S., Anabel tried to find her place on social media. Her first attempt was creating food content—cooking and sharing recipes. "I used to make videos without using my voice, and when I did, it was in English because I was in the U.S." She tried for two years, but it just wasn’t working. "That’s when I started making videos in Papiamento—cooking, cleaning, food shopping, and so on—but with my own little spicy touch!" Anabel saw that no one from Aruba was doing what she was doing in the U.S., so she decided: “Let’s go for it and show people what life is like here.” Switching to Papiamento was the game changer! Her audience grew, and she found her niche by embracing her own roots. With her spontaneous, joyful, and ‘spicy’ energy, she created the perfect formula that connected with her audience.

In 2024, Anabel was named Influencer of the Year by several radio stations, but she doesn’t fully embrace the title.

I am 100% honest in my segments, I learn from my own mistakes, and I openly show that I mess up too." She believes in being real, not portraying a perfectly curated life. "That doesn’t mean I don’t have the skills, but no thanks—I don’t want to overcomplicate things. Life is simple, and that’s all there is to it."

What Ana Vibes has built is not just about dancing, cooking, or showing the life of an Aruban in the U.S.—it has a deeper meaning. She strongly believes in social justice and makes sure that her platform remains positive and responsible. "I don’t use my platform to promote anything negative. You will NEVER see me glorifying child abuse, drugs, sexual abuse, or alcoholism. These are serious topics, and I would never take them lightly or promote them in my content."

Ana Vibes is about showing life, but in a way that spreads positivity—a space where her community feels connected, happy, and engaged. "My videos are meant to bring humor and fun-even if not everyone sees them that way. But I understand that in today’s world, not everyone will always agree, and that’s okay with me."
